Aloe has been known for its antioxidant and protective properties even in the medical field since ancient times.
The aloe selected for OLOS is ORGANIC certified and comes from Mexican farms. This is not standard aloe.
Once harvested, the aloe undergoes 1 ENZYMATIC BIOLIQUEFACTION PROCESS + 2 FERMENTATION PROCESSES.
Fermentation has been essential for transforming and preserving foods for millennia.
In the cosmetic industry, this process allows for exploiting an organic ferment to produce innovative active ingredients.
The fermentation process requires free sugars; that’s why the process is more difficult to achieve with leaves, roots, and flowers, which are not rich in sugar.
But now, OLOS is introducing a cutting-edge solution that combines an enzymatic bioliquefaction process and a double fermentation process to overcome these limitations and exploit fermentation’s full potential.
This new process is much more powerful and effective than fermentation alone.
The aloe leaf is reacted with hydrolytic enzymes, which cut the leaf’s fibers, just like a pair of scissors. This way, they break them down into simple sugars, creating the perfect environment for ferments to grow.
Saccharomyces and lactobacillus are the two ferments used in this process. They incorporate sugar and produce protein and antioxidants.
This is a sustainable process with a low environmental impact because it uses only water. This means no organic solvents and no special waste.
The result is an extract that contains all of aloe’s active ingredients plus all the substances produced during the fermentation process (proteins, amino acids, and antioxidants).
Tests conducted on this innovative active ingredient show that compared to standard aloe, hyper-fermented aloe:

- Contains 100% more free polyphenols
- Contains 100% more amino acids and proteins
- Has a more potent antioxidant effect

Select growers produce this plant according to the principles of environmentally responsible farming. This active ingredient promotes cellular dynamism, energizes and brightens the skin, combats digital pollution, and reduces signs of fatigue.
This “hairy” superfood is the fruit of an evergreen plant that grows in Vietnam according to the principles of responsible farming. In fact, producers have built a fair relationship with local populations, improving working conditions and offering employment contracts, insurance, income protection, and training. This active ingredient is extracted through a sustainable process. Its properties are widely used in the anti-aging sector. It boosts collagen and elastin production and has a retinol-like effect.
Nasturtium extract, Arugula extract and Phytic acid
A complex created in our laboratories to protect and repair the skin from external pollutants and oxidants like indoor or outdoor pollution, blue light, and wireless radiation. Proven with in vitro effectiveness tests, this complex is included in all formulas targeting mature skin and preventing premature aging. Our Nasturtium extract is sustainably extracted without the use of chemical solvents: this allows for higher concentrations of purified molecules, for more effective results on the skin. This active ingredient improves cellular oxygenation and defends against free radicals: for younger-looking skin with a more even complexion and a more protected texture. Our Arugula extract is obtained through molecular bioliquefaction in order to obtain only the ingredient’s biologically active part. It supports cellular defenses, protecting the skin and leaving it stronger and more active. It also participates in a wide range of biological reactions which detoxify, protect, and repair the skin’s cells. Phytic acid, a natural, biodegradable extract obtained from Rice, has chelating and antioxidant properties which help to protect the skin from pollutants.

This perennial plant, also known as “cat’s whiskers” due to its shape, is grown organically in Burkina Faso. Tests conducted on helichrysum extract show that it can boost tissue regeneration and improve skin density, thereby ensuring a lifting, anti-aging effect.
Complex of Plant Oils
A complex of natural plant oils (sunflower, argan, sweet almonds, camellia, and macadamia) with nourishing, softening, and emollient effects on skin and hair. Macadamia oil is the real star of this complex. Macadamia is a slow-growing evergreen tree. Its high monounsaturated fatty acid content provides excellent smoothing, moisturizing, and anti-aging properties.
Jania Rubens Coral Algae
Rare red algae with a distinctive, downy texture. It is named after Janus, the double-headed Roman god, because of its dichotomous branches. In order to protect this rare algae's ecosystem, it is grown in laboratories using a natural bioreactor. Sustainable processes are used to extract the active ingredient. This active ingredient reduces and prevents the accumulation and synthesis of fats; it ensures cellular homeostasis, the correct balance of oxygenated water within the cell, and stimulates the production of Acquaporine proteins; it smooths and firms the membrane between the dermis and the epidermis.
Undaria Pinnatifida Algae
Also known as Wakame, this algae is a staple of Japanese cuisine and is also prized for its medicinal properties. The active ingredient is extracted through natural methods, using Propiac thermal water from France. This active ingredient is sourced from a producer who is committed to supporting local communities and sustainable oceans, in order to preserve the algae's ecosystem. The active ingredient helps to melt excess fat, inhibiting lipid storage and preventing the development of new fatty deposits. It also promotes fat burning within mature fat cells.
Nannochloropsis Granulata Micro Algae
This species of algae was only discovered a few years ago, in the North Sea. Its is nutritionally rich in fatty acids, polyphenols, and carbohydrates. In order to preserve the ocean ecosystem, it is lab-grown with bioreactors that use sunlight to promote the algae's photosynthesis and growth. The active ingredient strengthens the fibers that support the extra-cellular matrix. It also stimulates collagen, pro-collagen, and fibronectin synthesis, leaving the skin soft, elastic, toned, and lifted.
