At the roots of biodiversity
OLOS strengthens its connection to the local region through a concrete project dedicated to environmental enhancement.
This is how the Oasis of Biodiversity was born: an area of over 400 square meters near the headquarters in the province of Bergamo, adopted and reclaimed by OLOS to create new green spaces. This initiative goes beyond skincare: it is a tangible commitment to nature and the community, where environmental preservation becomes an integral part of the OLOS philosophy.

To mark the launch of the Sorbet Gels, the plants representing the three key active ingredients of the line were cultivated within the oasis:
Cornflower, Rose, Grapevine.
OLOS loves turtles
In 2025, OLOS supported a project to protect sea turtles together with CESTHA, the Experimental Centre for the Protection of Habitats, one of Italy’s leading centres for the rehabilitation of marine reptiles. We adopted 10 sea turtles rescued from the Adriatic Sea, contributing to their care and rehabilitation before their release back into the sea.
One of the sea turtles is called OLOS and is being tracked via satellite to study its movements and contribute to scientific research into behaviour and migration routes.

Water Defenders Alliance
Every year, a significant proportion of plastic waste ends up in the Mediterranean Sea, contributing to marine pollution and the diffusion of microplastics.
OLOS joined the **Water Defenders Alliance** project, from 30 May 2024 to 31 May 2025, supporting the installation of a Seabin in the port of Procida to collect floating waste.
During the initiative, 229 kg of floating waste was collected, comprising plastic material and wet organic matter contaminated with microplastics, polystyrene and hydrocarbons.
The initiative is part of the Water Defenders Alliance project and is a collaboration that supports the collection and monitoring activities carried out by its organisers. This is an independent project, separate from the development and marketing of OLOS products.

For OLOS, the care taken when selecting materials extends not only to cosmetic products, but also to the accompanying tools. When producing brochures, displays and other promotional materials, we prioritise recycled or recyclable materials when available and compatible with technical requirements, and implement solutions designed to optimise the use of packaging materials.
